One new ride, every few years. Sell a day out, then spend the winter rebuilding it.
A theme park takes its whole year between the spring holidays and the end of August, and spends the winter taking rides to pieces. The admission gets people through the gate and the money is made afterwards: food, photographs, a hotel by the car park. Every ride has a documented inspection before it opens each season, and one that does not pass does not open, on a bank holiday weekend, with every ticket already sold.
