Destroyers, cruisers and submarines for the Admiralty. Build a warship to the Admiralty's drawings and its timetable.
A warship yard builds to the Admiralty's design, under the eye of its overseers, on a contract that pays in stages as the hull goes up. A destroyer takes about two years and a battleship four, so the order book is a queue of slipways. Between the wars orders are few and fought over, and when rearmament comes every berth is full and every riveter is wanted at once.
